BA staff briefed over freeze talks
Updated on 06 July 2009
A mass meeting of British Airways workers is due to be held ahead of crucial talks aimed at agreeing cost cutting at the airline.
The airline set a deadline of June 30 to reach a deal on around 3,500 job cuts, a pay freeze and other changes, but no agreement was made.
The conciliation service Acas will chair a meeting between BA and unions on Wednesday in a fresh bid to break the deadlock.
