Armed forces pay tribute to town

Updated on 12 October 2008

By Julian Rush

Julian Rush reports on the armed forces big thank you to a town that has turned out en masse to honour the military dead over a hundred times.

The people of Wootton Bassett have lined the streets more than a hundred times to honour British service personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Now the armed forces have paid tribute to them, with a flypast and a parade through the Wiltshire town. Wooton Bassett is close to RAF Lyneham, to where bodies are repatriated.
