An Afghan mission via Thetford

More4 News visits an army training camp that's a little bit of Afghanistan right in the heart of Norfolk.

Thetford as Afghanistan

There are more pine trees than poppy fields, and deserts and mountains are in short supply.

But when the Ministry of Defence wanted to mock up an Afghan village for training purposes, they looked to Thetford in Norfolk.

So can a training ground in East Anglia really prepare soldiers for Helmand?
