Airport workers vote to strike
Updated on 10 November 2007
Workers at John Lennon Airport in Liverpool have voted to go on strike in a row over pay.
Members of the GMB union backed industrial action by nine to one after rejecting a pay offer they said was below the rate of inflation.
GMB official Eddie Parker said: "GMB members have voted decisively to take action to get a pay rise in line with inflation and they are not prepared to accept any strings attached to a deal."
