Uefa Cup carnival in Manchester

By Nick Martin

Updated on 14 May 2008

More than 100,000 Rangers fans descend on Manchester for tonight's Uefa Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg. Nick Martin reports.

Hordes of supporters danced, drank and sang in the sun ahead of tonight's showdown against the Russian side.

The hotels are full, the roads are gridlocked.

If Rangers win the match, which kicks off at 7.45pm, they will be the first Scottish team for 25 years to land a European trophy.
