Speaking after England's 3-1 win over Belarus in Minsk, England's two-goal hero Wayne Rooney admits he finds the England manager 'scary'.

England striker Wayne Rooney has revealed the secret to Fabio Capello's success - the fear factor.

Rooney, who scored two goals in England's 3-1 victory over Belarus last night, says the Italian is a "scary" man.

He said: "He's a scary guy - I would not want to get on the wrong side of him.

"But he's a great manager, he's got that winning mentality.

"He's a winner and he hates losing; and he's getting that into the players."

England sit top of their World Cup qualifying group, with a maximum 12 points from four games.

Rooney said: "He [Capello] takes most of the credit for this; he gives us the right tactics and information on the other teams, and works with us on the training pitch.

"The players trust him and trust what he is telling us - he speaks to us as a team and individually. And hopefully we can take that forward now."

Rooney said the Italian boss reminded him of his Manchester Untied manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

He said: "He's a different man and a different manager but they are both winners. That is the man thing they have in common - they both have that belief and quality."
