Juande Ramos insists he will not quit as Tottenham manager.
After a 1-0 home defeat by Hull, Spurs are still waiting for their first Premier League win of the season and they are sitting in the relegation zone.
The last time Tottenham failed to win their first seven league games was in 1912 and Ramos has come under intense pressure but he is convinced the team will find form soon.
Ramos said: "Any decision on my future is not up to me but I am determined to put it right. It is my job, my work.
"The main problem for us is scoring goals. You have to score to win games and we are finding that difficult.
"But if we continue to play similar to how we did against Hull we can change the situation."
Tottenham have only won three Premier League games since Ramos steered them to an incredible victory over Chelsea in the Carling Cup final.
Their last home win came in March and the supporters at White Hart Lane are restless because star strikers Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe have all left since Ramos took charge, but their replacements have not caught the imagination yet.
Ramos claims there were signs of improvement during the game against Hull.
He said: "The effort was there and the players did their job very well.
"Their attitude was positive and when I speak to them they say they want to finish this situation quickly."
