The world motor racing authority president Max Mosley survives a vote of confidence by formula one bosses.
One hundred and sixty nine delegates met at a specially-convened gathering of the sport's governing body, the FIA, in Paris to discuss his involvement in an alleged Nazi-themed orgy.
One hundred and three gave him their backing, with just 55 voting against him.
The result means that Mosley has faced down those who've been calling for him to resign since the details and photographs of the orgy were published in March.
