A row is brewing over whether the Lottery will be used to fund the shortfall of holding the London Olympics.

The biggest distributor of National Lottery funds has warned that charities will face a devastating impact, if - as expected - more money is diverted to pay for the London 2012 Olympics.
The BIG Lottery Fund provides around £600m to good causes each year - but may be asked to fund a large amount of the extra £900m needed to pay for building the Olympic Park.
The Chairman of BIG has told Channel 4 News that this would mean - at the very least - 86,000 grants to good causes being stopped.
