Lucy Manning interviews the swimming gold medallist Rebecca Adlington during the Olympic parade in London.
Britain's Olympic heroes have taken to the streets of London to meet their fans, and bask in the undoubted triumph of their gold medal haul.
Crowds are enthusiastic but maybe not as huge as was hoped. The parade is taking place today, not during the school holidays or nearer the event, due to Her Majesty the Queen and the atheletes' appointments to meet her.
