The Indian Premier League is the new cricket competition paying its players sky high wages for just a few weeks worth of matches
Its line up reads like a who's who of the cricket world, the Australian captain Ricky Ponting, Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori.
But don't expect to see any England players involved just yet. The league starts this Friday and runs to the beginning of June, clashing with the English test match season.
