Three British football clubs have been raided by police as part of an investigation into alleged corruption in the sport.

Newcastle United, Rangers and Portsmouth were all targeted and it is claimed computers were taken away from Newcastle's St James' Park stadium as officers executed a search warrant.

The operations are not connected to Lord Stevens' Quest inquiry looking into Premier League transfers.
