Sir Alex Ferguson has dismissed suggestions by Chelsea manager Avram Grant that referees helped Manchester United win the Premier League.

The Old Trafford boss hit back, claiming Grant was trying to put pressure on the officials in the build-up to the Champions League final.

Ferguson said: "I think it is about next Wednesday and maybe even next season.

"I could go on and on about decisions because they're all debatable at the end of the day, we feel we didn't get a lot decisions this season.

"Now it's about next Wednesday and I think that's why Avram's talking that way."

Football Association officials are expected to investigate Grant's comments about referees.
