Sir Alex Ferguson believes Chelsea are now Manchester United's biggest rivals for the Premier League title.
United extended their lead at the top of the table to five points by beating Liverpool 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday, while Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are now unbeaten in 14 league games and they have not lost at home for more than four years.
United still have to face Chelsea and Arsenal and Ferguson believes Chelsea are the only team that can now prevent United from defending the title.
Ferguson said: "I think Chelsea hold the key. We've still got to go to Stamford Bridge where they've got a formidable home record.
"We have established a good lead but we're not taking anything for granted, we have to carry on playing the way we have been. As I've said all along, the team who shows real consistency between now and the end of the season will win the league."
