England stars top £1m in IPL auction

Updated on 06 February 2009

By Jenny Wivell

The England cricketers Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff are now the most expensive players in the world.

The star batsman and acclaimed all-rounder fetched bids of just over £1m each at the Indian Premier League Auctions early this morning.

Interview: Angus Fraser

Angus Fraser, the former England bowler who is now Middlesex managing director of cricket, offers his views on the auction.
