Portsmouth have been given a dream Uefa Cup draw against seven-times European champions AC Milan.

Pompey join the Italian giants in Group E alongside Heerenveen, Braga and Wolfsburg.

Club chief executive Peter Storrie admitted the chance to play host to Milan at Fratton Park was a "dream come true" for the club.

Premier League strugglers Tottenham will take on Spartak Moscow, Udinese, Dinamo Zagreb and Dutch side Nijmegen in Group D.

Spurs are bottom of the premiership after a miserable start to the season but they reached the group phase with victory against Wisla Krakow over two legs.

Group F brings together three former European Champions with Aston Villa, Hamburg and Ajax pitted against each other, along with Czech champions Slavia Prague and Slovakian side Zilina.

Manchester City will come up against former England manager Steve McClaren's FC Twente in Group A. Schalke, Paris St Germain and Racing Santander make up the group.

Each team plays two matches at home and two away, with the top three teams from each group qualifying for the last 32.
