Arsenal defender Gael Clichy has not given up on winning the Premier League despite losing 2-1 at Chelsea on Sunday.

Clichy insists the quality of Arsenal's football is still good and he revealed the manager Arsene Wenger has helped the players believe in themselves despite a run of five league games without a win.

Clichy said: "We may have lost against Chelsea but we played well. The manager is still confident. At the moment, we are alongside Chelsea in the battle to catch Manchester United.

"They are not dropping many points at the moment but there is still a long way to go.

"Honestly, I think Arsenal have the quality to come back from this. We just have to work hard.

"We haven't had a lot of luck in the last few matches. We had our chances against Chelsea but we didn't do what we had to to win."
