Cisse and Healy join Black Cats
Updated on 22 August 2008
Djibril Cisse hopes to make his Sunderland debut at Tottenham after completing a move back to the Premier League.
Cisse, 27, signed for the Black Cats on a season-long loan deal, becoming Roy Keane's fifth major signing of the summer.
And the French international was quickly followed through the door by Fulham striker David Healy, who signed a three-year deal at the Stadium of Light for an undisclosed fee.
Both players are likely to go into Sunderland's new-look squad for the game at White Hart Lane.
It is a statement of intent from Keane, and former Liverpool man Cisse is expecting big things from the Wearside club this season.
He said: "I think we can fight with the big clubs and achieve things, I was pleased with the project Sunderland had to offer."
He added: "Sunderland have big players, a nice stadium, big fans - they have everything to achieve good things. I hope to score a lot of goals and help Sunderland to the top part of the table.
"I'm excited, really. I hope to be allowed to play on Saturday and show what I can do, show the club that they were right to trust me. I'm fit, I'm ready to go.
"Spurs is a tough game but there is a lot of quality here, I think we can surprise them."
