Chelsea level 0-0 with Blackburn
Updated on 16 September 2007
Blackburn have tied with Chelsea 0-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were forced to settle for the draw after a second-half goal was controversially ruled out by referee Howard Webb.
Salomon Kalou's close-range finish at the 57th minute was written off as offside.
Manager Jose Mourinho remonstrated with the officials and was still angry after the final whistle, getting into a heated discussion with Webb as his side missed the chance to join Arsenal at the top of the Premier League on 13 points.
He said: "I told (the linesman) of course, tomorrow I'm waiting for a phone call and for his apology. We lost a goal in a performance where I have only good things to say about my players.
"We played without our target men (Didier) Drogba and (Claudio) Pizarro and goalscorer Frank Lampard...I had no striker on the bench. We scored a good goal, a winning goal and should have had three points and came away with one point.
"The linesman can tell why he disallowed the goal...I don't know why it was disallowed."
