Blyth have crashed out of the FA Cup with a 1-0 third-round defeat at the hands of Blackburn.

Carlos Villanueva ended their chances with a 59th-minute free-kick.

Blyth manager Harry Dunn said: "I'm extremely disappointed. I felt at the end of the game we might have pinched it.

"But it says something that a Premier League side were taking the ball into the corner at the end to waste a few seconds. It took a great goal to beat us.

"It's been a fantastic experience, a great night for us."
