Arsenal have completed a clean sweep of women's club football with a 4-1 FA Cup win over Charlton.

The Gunners came from a goal down to add the FA Cup to their glorious 2006-07 season which has seen them claim the league title, league cup and European Cup.

Katie Holtham had fired the Addicks into a surprise lead after only two minutes before the Gunners replied in emphatic fashion to earn a comfortable victory in Nottingham.

Captain Jayne Ludlow put Arsenal ahead after 15 minutes to complete the turnaround before making it 3-1 in first-half injury time. Smith wrapped things up ten minutes from time with a cool finish as Arsenal lifted their fourth major trophy this season.

Ludlow said: "It's been an absolutely fantastic year, big credit goes to all of the team who have been brilliant all year. It was a team performance and has been all year.

"We want to be European champions again next year. Hopefully things get bigger and better."
