Updated on 03 July 2008
The Williams sisters will compete in the final of Wimbledon for the fourth time.
Serena Williams, who has two Wimbledon trophies to her name, booked a place in the final with a 6-2 7-6 victory over Chinese wild card Zheng Jie on Centre Court.
Serena won the first set in 28 minutes after breaking Zheng's serve in the opening game.
Zheng forced a tie-break in the second set but double-faulted to give Serena victory.
Four-times champion Venus had already reached her seventh final with a 6-1 7-6 win over Russian Elena Dementieva in the first semi-final.
Serena said: "(Venus) is a tough opponent, the toughest I've played here but we're going to stop talking to each other until the final."
