Catholic sect in church row

Updated on 25 March 2009

By Helene Cacace

More4 News reports on a disused Church of England church in Manchester at the centre of a row between local residents and a controversial Catholic sect.

The Society of St Pius X wants to buy St George's church in Gorton.

The group made headlines after Bishop Richard Williamson, one of its members, expressed doubt that the Holocaust had taken place.

These views have fuelled opposition to the sale, as Helene Cacace reports.
