British Airways confirms it will not tolerate the wearing of a Christian symbol by staff in uniform.

Following her beliefs - or flouting company rules: a British Airways check-in worker has lost her appeal against BA's decision to stop her wearing a cross.
Nadia Eweida refused to hide the necklace from view, saying she wanted to follow Biblical truth. And her stance won support today from civil liberties campaigners - and the Archbishop of York.
He said Britain owed 'so much' to the cross that the decision to ban it was 'nonsense'. As for BA: they insist their 34,000 uniformed staff had happily accepted the policy for years.
