What exactly happened to Shannon?

Police are trying to piece together what happened to Shannon Matthews during the 24 days she went missing.
They say she spent "a comfortable and settled night" watching DVDs.
The nine-year-old is still the subject of an emergency care order and is yet back with her mother. The man being held over her disappearance is Paul Drake, the uncle of her mother's partner.
