He has already been convicted of causing the death of Baby P, the little boy who suffered horrific abuse despite being on the authorities' at risk register.

Today his mother's boyfriend was found guilty of raping a two-year-old girl. The verdict came at the end of a trial that was conducted in total secrecy, where the defendants' names were changed and the girl became the youngest person to ever give evidence at the Old Bailey.

The mother of Baby P, whose real name is Peter, was cleared of cruelty. But Channel 4 News has uncovered disturbing new evidence that social services at Haringey in north London missed warnings of a background of abuse within the family.

Sue Turton's report contains some distressing details.
