Police seeking the killer of 11-year-old Rhys Jones say they have traced a potentially important witness.

Detectives have spoken to a woman seen pushing a pram near the pub where Rhys was shot.

Five teenagers remain in custody on suspicion of murder, but a 15-year-old boy has been released on bail.

The government has said the priority is getting guns off the streets, as the home secretary called for "drop-off sites" for illegal guns to be handed in anonymously.

But the Conservatives have dismissed the idea as "feeble".
