Rail points risk revealed

The design of points across the country could be putting rail passengers at risk, according to the Office of Rail Regulation.
The regulator warned Network Rail about the issue as part of its investigation into the Grayrigg disaster, in Cumbria last year, in which one person was killed.
But a separate report into the incident has concluded track maintenance errors were responsible.
