Abu Qatada, the Muslim cleric once described as Osama Bin Laden's "right hand man" in Europe, wins his appeal against government plans to deport him to Jordan.
The court of appeal ruling is a blow to the policy of signing memoranda of understanding with countries designed to ensure deported terrorist suspects won't be tortured.
The Home Office says Qatada is a truly dangerous man who will remain in prison while they challenge today's ruling.
