A former head of drug treatment policy in prisons is on a collision course with his one-time employer, the government.

Huseyin Djemil says drug use in prisons is now widespread with no understanding of the sheer scale of the problem.

The government says he's "astonishingly ill-informed."

Mr Djemil will launch a blistering attack on current policy on Monday.

In his first ever television interview he's told this programme that drugs in prisons are "everyone's problem and no-one's priority".
