Police hunt for missing child

200 police officers are searching for a nine-year-old girl who's been missing since yesterday.

Shannon Matthews was reported to the police after she failed to arrive back home in Dewsbury after school.

She's believed to have stayed behind for after-school activities and the last confirmed sighting of her was at just after 3pm.
