Philip Thompson gets four years for role in internet paedophile ring

A man known as "the librarian" is jailed for his part in a paedophile ring that reached 33 countries.

Philip Thompson, aged 27, from Stockton-on-Tees, admitted a string of paedophilia offences which reached 33 countries.

The offences included making indecent photographs of children, distributing indecent photographs of children, and causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

The judge said Thompson posed a significant risk to the public.
