Paedophile ring leader jailed

A man has been given an indeterminate prison sentence for running a paedophile ring.
Martin Cox, of Buxhall, Suffolk, ran an internet chatroom from his parents' farmhouse and a court heard some of the "shocking" images showed "very young children" being subjected to "sadistic" abuse.
The court heard Cox had spotted a "gap in the market" because a similar American website was closed down by police.
He possessed more than 75,000 indecent images, including more than 1,000 films, which amounted to two weeks of continuous viewing.
Judge Peter Thompson said Cox will stay in prison until experts decide it is safe to release him.
Cox was arrested last September after an undercover Canadian policeman found the chatroom during an investigation into paedophile websites.
Prosecutors said it was the largest operation seen in Suffolk and "significant" in national terms.
