McCann damages; coverage 'grotesque'

The parents of Madeleine McCann have welcomed a settlement from Express Newspapers over coverage of their daughter's disappearance they described as "grotesque".
They were awarded a front page apology and £550,000 in libel damages. The McCanns said they would use the award to help fund the search.
The couple's solicitor had argued that the Express newspaper group had published more than a hundred articles that were seriously defamatory
