All four convicted 21/7 bombers have received life sentences for conspiracy to murder.
The group have been ordered to serve a minimum of 40 years each behind bars.
Four home made devices failed to go off on the London transport network a week after the deadly 7/7 attacks in 2005.
Muktar Said Ibrahim, Yassin Omar, Ramzi Mohammed and Hussain Osman were told they will serve a minimum of 40 years.
In sentencing at Woolwich Crown Court today, the judge said he was sure there was a link to the 7/7 attacks a fortnight earlier.
Mr Justice Fulford said "I have no doubt that they were both part of an al-Qaida inspired and controlled sequence of attacks."
The jury failed to reach a verdict over Adel Yahya and Manfo Asiedu, who both deny conspiracy to murder but will be retried.
