Knife crime campaign launched

By Harry Fawcett

Updated on 29 May 2008

Graphic photographs of real stab wounds are used to launch a government campaign against knife crime.

The hard-hitting adverts were designed by teenagers to show the horrific consequences that can come from carrying a knife.

The £3m campaign is being launched after a series of violent killings, including the murder of 18-year-old actor Rob Knox outside a pub in south-east London.
