Ipswich jury see murder sites

The Ipswich trial jurors visited the prostitute murder scenes yesterday.
They jury set off from Ipswich Crown Count in a mini-bus escorted by police outriders.
They were accompanied by the judge, lead councils for prosecution and defence and a detective who explained the significance of each of the sites.
Their first visit was to 79, London Road, Ipswich. This was the house that Steve Wright shared with his partner and where he was arrested.
Fibres from a sofa found here at Steve Wright's house formed part of the forensic evidence linking him to the five women.
His defence team say although he knew all five of the women and had slept with four of them, he was not their killer.
After visiting the house the jury went for a brief tour of the surrounding red light district.
All of the women had at the time been working as prostitutes on the streets of Ipswich.
The jurors, who for legal reasons cannot be identified, then travelled to Hintlesham Fisheries.
Gemma Adams' body was found in a brook near the fisheries on 2 December 2006.
The judge had told the jurors not to pay attention to any of the floral tributes they might come across at the sites they visited.
It was then just a short trip from Hintlesham to Copdock, where Tania Nicol's body was found.
