The government announces plans to confront young offenders with the damage they do as two more people are stabbed to death.

People who carry knives and their victims are getting younger and attacks are becoming more vicious.

That's the worrying view tonight from the police officer tasked with tackling knife crime across the country as the government announces a series of new measures to confront young offenders with the damage they do.

This comes on the day that two more people are stabbed to death and a third is left seriously hurt.
