The fertiliser bomb plot trial was dramatically halted at the Old Bailey after a defendant said his family would be put at risk if he continued giving evidence.

Omar Khyam, who's accused with six others of plotting to bomb night clubs and a shopping centre, was asked if he'd bought fertiliser found in a west London depot in 2004.

He said the Pakistani intelligence services had talked to his relatives about the evidence he'd already given in court and he couldn't say any more.
