Father dismisses Hackney council inquiry into children's deaths
Updated on 17 July 2008
An inquiry into how a schizophrenic mother killed her two children is condemned as "whitewash".
The children's father, Jimi Ogunkoya, is now calling for a full public inquiry.
Vivian Gamor battered her son and suffocated her daughter to death in January last year as they stayed the night at her flat, months after she had been freed from a psychiatric unit.
But Hackney council's investigation concluded that "no single judgement or action" was to blame.
Channel 4 News has had exclusive access to the Ogunkoya family.
