From victory in the Prix de L'arc de Triomphe yesterday to the Old Bailey dock. Former champion jockey Kieren Fallon goes on trial for race fixing.
Former champion jockey Kieren Fallon is at the Old Bailey today for the start of a race fixing trial, along with five other defendants.
They deny conspiracy to defraud by interfering with the running of horses to ensure they lost races. It's in marked contrast to the 42-year-old's win yesterday in the Prix de l'arc de triomphe in Paris, on the horse Dylan Thomas.
The jockey is banned from racing in Britain pending the outcome of this trial.
