The IPCC fails to prevent footage showing Ian Tomlinson moments before he was shoved by police at the G20 protest.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission, who review police behaviour, have failed to get an injunction to prevent Channel 4 News from broadcasting pictures showing Ian Tomlinson moments before he was shoved and struck by a police officer at the G20 protest.

Mr Tomlinson died minutes later. Channel 4 News has pieced together extensive footage which appears to show the officer involved in several chaotic incidents with protestors.
