Criminal DNA checks: the failings

Brown is looking into why a computer disc with 2,000 criminals' DNA was ignored for a year. Cameron calls it "catastrophic".
Dutch police sent the disc to be checked against Britain's database. But the checks didn't start till this month.
Tonight the association of chief police officers has announced that a team of investigators are seeking 17 individuals who may have been involved in serious crimes.
