Confusion over child trafficking

Police and social workers are concerned that an over-emphasis on child trafficking is damaging the fight against crime.
Last week More4 News reported on a police operation to free children who were thought to have been smuggled into Britain by criminal gangs, to commit crime.
But today confusion reigned over whether or not those youngsters had actually been smuggled.
More4 News spoke to social workers and police officers concerned that an over-emphasis on trafficking - and a confusion over what it actually entails - is damaging the fight against crime.
