Child torture case 'shocking'
Updated on 06 April 2009
Police question two brothers aged 10 and 11 over the alleged torture of a pair of schoolchildren, after a savage attack just outside Doncaster.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown has called the incident "shocking".
Detectives are investigating claims that the young victims were cut with a knife, hit with bricks and even burnt with cigarettes.
One, who is 11, was allegedly pushed to the bottom of a ravine, suffering serious head injuries.
His nine-year-old friend was found wandering down a road, covered in blood.
