A report by the four Children's Commissioners of the UK says that Britain is demonising its teenagers and criminalising too many of them.

Children are being demonised by a society that's locking too many of them up.

Those are the strongly worded conclusions of a report by the UK's four Children's Commissioners, who claim that the human rights of young people in the UK are being abused.

The findings, which will handed to the United Nations later this week, also warn that almost a third of children live in relative poverty.
