Blair survives confidence vote

Met Chief Sir Ian Blair survives a vote of no confidence over the shooting of Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes.

Sir Ian told an an extrodinary meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority: "I am not a lame duck. I am a man of honour".

Jean Charles de Menezes was killed in 2005 by armed police after being mistaken for a suicide bomber.
