Four teenagers have been arrested over the stabbing of Ben Kinsella, as Cherie Booth tells MPs that fewer young people would carry weapons if they thought they'd be caught.

Four teenagers have been arrested this morning by detectives investigating the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in north London.

Ben Kinsella died after being caught up in a fight that had spilled out of a bar during the early hours of Sunday morning. He's the 17th teenager to be killed in London this year.

The developments came as the leading barrister Cherie Booth began giving evidence to MPs about her role in the Channel 4 street weapons commission, which examined why so many young people arm themselves.
