A new 75-member police taskforce is to target gangs and knife crime

The stepmother of a teenager stabbed to death in London calls plans for 75 extra police officers to tackle knife crime "a drop in the ocean".
The comments came as relatives of 16-year-old Shakilus Townsend gathered at the scene in south London where he was killed on Thursday.
He was the 18th teenager to die in a knife attack in the capital this year, persuading the Metropolitan Police to set up the new task force.
