Honda closure bodes badly for UK

Honda announces it will stop production at its plant in Swindon for two months next year.
Although it says none of its workers will lose their job, the news suggests that, as carmakers in the US struggle with the economic downturn, the dire conditions are also affecting British manufacturers.
